With EMS, electrodes (electro pads) are placed on various parts of the body. The electro pads are connected to the EMS device. This device sends electrical impulses to the muscles.
The frequency (impulse depth), impulse length (length of muscle contraction), and intensity (impulse strength) can be adjusted. This depends on the participant’s goals and needs. The muscles perceive the electrical impulses as an action potential. This means that EMS ensures that the motor units are activated and our muscles contract.

The AQ8 EMS wireless multi-user system
With the EMS device, the frequency (Hz) of the pulse signals can be adjusted depending on the participant’s goals. With a low frequency (1 – 10 Hz) and a long pulse, oxygen supply to the muscle is improved. The effect is restorative. It is relaxing and also stimulates blood circulation, allowing waste products in the muscle to be removed.
Pulse signals with a higher frequency (20 – 50 Hz) ensure an improvement in muscle structure, while very high frequencies (above 60 Hz) result in the muscle becoming larger and stronger. The consequence of this is weight loss and a reduction in body fat percentage. These settings are applied during the EMS group sessions to achieve maximum results.
We work with the most advanced EMS wireless multi-user system from AQ8.
